During this theme we have been looking at the area of emotional development. We learned that Mick is already experiencing many emotions and his mum and family, recognise his emotions by the different cues he gives. Our four core emotions are sad, angry, happy and afraid but there are so many more than this. We also learned how contagious emotions can be. When Mick smiles and laughs it makes us smile and laugh. When he looks sad, we become concerned. We can see so much development since Mick's last visit. He can focus on faces and objects, he can grab and grip toys and he is trying his best to stand up. We can't wait until we see him again!
