Scavenger Hunt

9th Jan 2020

On Tuesday 7th January the Primary 2 & 3 pupils participated in a scavenger hunt around the school grounds. The pupils were asked to collect three different types of leaves, something prickly, something a bird can eat, something that a bird can build its nest with and to find something that doesn’t belong. This last task puzzled the pupils for a few minutes, however, they quickly realised that rubbish would be an answer. Much to their surprise a shoelace, pen and rubber were also some articles that were found in the conservation area and were removed. Back in the classroom the pupils discussed what they found. It was great fun to get out into the fresh air and work co-operatively and quickly in small groups.
