We had another great Shared Education lesson with Poyntzpass Primary School when we came together to learn about our puppet friend Kathleen. We started with a group activity using marshmallows and spaghetti to make the tallest structure... very tempting to eat the marshmallows!! It was great fun but not easy to keep the structure from collapsing!
We learnt about Kathleen and her home called a trailer. We talked about house types and all agreed that it is important to be respectful of others who might live in different houses than we do.
The children had the opportunity to discuss similarities and differences about house types. They also created their own colourful trailer picture.
