P3 & 4 are developing their understanding and knowledge about 2D and 3D Shapes. The pupils are able to think of ways to sort shapes for their different properties and are learning new mathematical vocabulary. Primary 4 pupils have enjoyed making nets of shapes as part of their Activity Based learning. Primary 3 pupils paired together to make 2D and 3D repeating patterns. They also had good fun with the 3D stampers to show their understanding on paper. Primary 4 have learnt about symmetry and were given the challenge of making their own symmetrical patterns.
