Our P5/6 pupils had a fantastic time making paper chain Christmas trees to decorate the classroom. The challenge began with decoding a picture of the tree and reconstructing it using the materials provided — a brilliant way to combine problem-solving with festive fun! After completing their trees, the pupils extended their learning through writing:
P6 created a recount of the lesson, reflecting on the steps and teamwork involved. P5 wrote clear instructions on how to make the trees, focusing on sequencing and detail.
The results were colourful, creative, and full of Christmas cheer! Well done to everyone for their hard work and imagination.
