P4 had a busy week revisiting what they knew already about 2-d and 3-d shapes. They identified 3-d shapes and sorted for different properties such as curved faces, more than 6 vertices and shapes that had less than 8 edges. Pupils worked collaboratively to make nets of 3-d shapes using straws and masking tape. The pupils were keen to make Chinese shape tangrams too.
