In their recent topic numeracy work P3 & 4 have explored the concept of length. Primary 3 pupils used cubes as non-standard units to measure some objects before they were introduced to using a ruler accurately.
P4 pupils were tasked with measuring the length of the school corridor and the width of the classroom using metre sticks. In small groups they worked together to problem solve how to complete the tasks.
