Primary 2 and 3 have been very busy exploring money this month. They have looked at the shape, size and colour of coins as well as their worth. They have discussed their value, not only exchanging the value of coins up to 20p using other smaller values, but also calculating the change required from coins up to 20p! We have our very own Post Office role play area in our classroom, so we have had lots of fun taking turns in the roles as postmaster/postmistress and customers. We have also used Mathseeds and other online games to consolidate our learning.
