On behalf of our staff and pupils, we would like to sincerely thank Marc McComiskey and the Historical Society for delivering such a wonderful presentation as part of our Shared Education Project with Poyntzpass Primary School.
The presentation on the history and geography of Poyntzpass and the development of transport through the years was both highly informative and engaging. The photographs comparing locations from the past and present were particularly fascinating, allowing everyone to see how the village has evolved and changed over time.
The pupils and staff from both schools thoroughly enjoyed the session and gained a greater appreciation of the rich local history on their doorstep. Thank you for sharing your knowledge, enthusiasm and expertise with us. It was a memorable and valuable learning experience for all involved.
